Chopped garlic (I used granulated garlic): Garlic gives depth; granulated garlic blends easily into the cooked mixture.

Dried thyme leaves: A touch of thyme lends an earthy note that complements the sausage and apple.

Dijon mustard: Stirred into the cooked mixture, Dijon adds tang and helps balance the sweet elements.

How to Make Chicken Sausage & Apple Salad, Step-by-Step

Step 1: Prep all ingredients and slice the sausage, apple and onion.
