Here’s a fun paper craft just in time for Thanksgiving. These little Thanksgiving turkey kisses are simple to make and make a sweet addition to your holiday table.

Aren’t they adorable? And there’s chocolate involved, which makes them an instant favorite.

We made a few variations — some turkeys use Hershey Kisses, while others use Rolos stacked inside clear candy tubes. Both versions are quick and charming to assemble.

How to make a paper Thanksgiving turkey craft
What you’ll need:
– Cardstock in fall colors (kraft, sunflower yellow, red, orange)
– Googly eyes
– Hershey Kisses or Rolos (we like caramel-wrapped kisses for the warm tones)
– Scalloped 2-inch circle paper punch (or cut circles by hand)
– Scissors
– Sticky glue dots or low-temp hot glue for extra hold
Instructions:
1. Punch or cut several scalloped circles from each color, using more kraft-colored paper for the turkey body.
2. Take one kraft circle and fold a small straight line along the outer edge so the folded edge will stand up when the piece lies flat. This helps the feathers fan behind the chocolate.
3. Layer three scalloped circles in different colors, staggering them so each color shows. Trim each circle roughly in half depending on which will sit front and back.
4. Cut a small triangular beak from orange paper and a snood (wattle) from red paper.
5. Use glue dots to assemble the layered feathers, attach the body, then add the googly eyes, beak, and snood. For a firmer hold, secure pieces with a low-temp hot glue gun.
6. If using Rolos, hand-cut a simple body shape and attach the candy in the same way — imperfections add charm and keep this kid-friendly.

These make sweet place settings for each guest at Thanksgiving dinner. They’re also a great craft activity for kids — set up a small table with supplies and let them create their own turkey treats.

For the Rolos version we simply hand-cut the turkey body with scissors. The handmade, imperfect look is part of the appeal and makes each one unique.

Wishing you a joyful Thanksgiving surrounded by the people you love.
