This pineapple smoothie blends pineapple, banana, pineapple juice and Greek yogurt until creamy and smooth — a refreshing choice for breakfast or a snack.
When I want to feel like I’m on a tropical getaway, I reach for a pineapple smoothie. It’s icy, bright and tastes like a vacation in a glass (without the alcohol).

Smoothies are quick, nutritious and refreshing. This pineapple smoothie is a favorite because the tropical flavors are bright and satisfying.
HOW DO YOU MAKE A PINEAPPLE SMOOTHIE?
Use frozen pineapple to get a thick, frosty texture. Add frozen pineapple chunks, banana, pineapple juice and vanilla Greek yogurt to a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and enjoy.

I typically use plain pineapple juice, but mixed juices like orange-pineapple or orange-pineapple-banana also work well and add extra depth of flavor.

If you want a piña colada variation, replace some of the juice or yogurt with coconut milk. You can also add mango or other tropical fruits for a different flavor profile.
To boost nutrition, consider adding:
- Protein powder
- Chia seeds
- Spinach (adds nutrients without much change in taste)
- Flax seeds

WHAT ARE THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF PINEAPPLE?
Pineapple is rich in vitamin C and offers several health benefits. It supports immune function, contributes to cardiovascular and digestive health, and contains anti-inflammatory compounds.
IS PINEAPPLE GOOD FOR WEIGHT LOSS?
Pineapple is relatively low in calories and can be filling thanks to its fiber content. It also supports gut health, which can help with weight management when combined with a balanced diet and regular activity.

I like to start the day with this pineapple smoothie — it takes minutes to make and gives a bright, nourishing start to the morning.
